Who can use the Air Canada Signature Suite in Toronto?
If you don’t enjoy the hustle of an airport and prefer to sit in a quiet and calm environment, the Air Canada Signature Lounge is for you. However, it comes at a cost. To access this lounge, you must travel nonstop on an Air Canada-operated flight to Europe, Asia, or South America. Depending on the flight ticket booked, there are additional ways to get access to the lounge, but make sure to check Air Canada’s website for additional information.
What makes the Air Canada Signature Suite so special?
As a guest in the Air Canada Signature Suite, you can access a fine dining menu designed by Canadian Chef David Hawksworth. Airports don’t usually have the most memorable food, but after dining in this lounge, it’s all we can think about. In fact, Skytrax World Airline Awards recently recognized the Air Canada Signature Suite as the “World’s Best Business Class Lounge Dining Experience.”
The lounge has a sleek design and art pieces that showcase Canadian talent. Montreal architect Heekyung Duquette designed the suite, and Ottawa artist Gavin Lynch created the large mural that’s painted on the wall. Together, the feel is comfortable, classy, and elevated — unlike anywhere else at the international airport.

What can you expect to eat at the Air Canada Signature Suite at Pearson Airport?
At no additional cost, guests can enjoy a 3-course fine dining experience using seasonal flavours sourced locally within 100 km. The a la carte menu changes twice a year, but if it doesn’t intrigue you, the lounge also offers a delicious buffet.
For starters, Chef Hawksworth is famous in Vancouver for his Hawksworth Burger. This burger is only available in one place on the East Coast, and that’s at Toronto’s Pearson Airport. The burger consists of a classic beef patty topped with crispy bacon, a delicious crisp onion ring and a sharp old cheddar. It’s one of the best burgers we’ve ever had.

Other dishes included the Marinated Tuna, which we found to be very refreshing and light and the Confit Duck Salad, which was flavorful and tender. We also loved the Ontario Chicken Paillard, topped with arugula and pear, candied walnuts, lemon vinaigrette, and shaved parmesan on a lightly fried chicken breast. We would definitely go back just for this!
What can you expect to drink at the Air Canada Signature Suite at Pearson Airport?
As part of the package, guests can enjoy complimentary signature cocktails made with homemade syrup and infusions by on-site mixologists. The mixologists are professionally trained and learn from award-winning mixologists to bring the best to the experience. Also, the cocktails are inspired by airport lingo, from Gate E77 to On Time and A Flight Above, the creativity is fantastic!
Additionally, the Air Canada lounge is also very proud of its wine selection. It includes a wide variety of options that suit every palate and a Canadian wine list that showcases the country’s best. In fact, Air Canada’s Signature Suite purchases the most Laurent Perrier and Taittinger Champagnes in Ontario. We love how they support local businesses!
Where is the Air Canada Signature Suite?
This lavish suite is located at Toronto Pearson International Airport in the international departures area, close to Gate E77. The lounge is on the upper lever of the airport, and all you need to do to enter, if eligible, is show your boarding pass at the door.
Guests can also use the lounge’s transportation services, which include an Air Canada-themed Porsche that takes you from the check-in counter to the lounge using the airport’s back routes. This service is extremely comfortable and exclusive, and it allows you to check out various hidden gems at the airport in style.
Is it worth spending the extra dollars to have this experience? If you can swing it, we think it is! The lounge changed our entire perspective of travelling in style and we loved how it showcased Canadian cuisine at its finest.
