What is the Jamaican patty festival?
Toronto Patty Fest is the world’s first Jamaican patty festival. Organized by the team behind Afro Caribbean Farmer’s Market, Toronto Patty Fest will feature vendors from across the city showcasing their best patty recipes and creative interpretations while staying true to the snack. Attendees will get a chance to satisfy their patty cravings and try something new while capturing the full cultural scope of the Caribbean. Some popular vendors expected are Spike Your Food and Le Bercail. There will be tons of activities for the whole family like face painting, a magician and a DJ spinning R&B, Reggae and Soca hits to keep the party going.

Toronto Patty Fest is on Saturday, August 5 from 1 pm to 7 pm.

The event will be held in the Little Jamaica Cultural District on Eglinton Avenue West’s Reggae Lane Green P Car Park. The space will be transformed into a huge, colourful Caribbean party.
