Did Gordon Ramsay get 3 Michelin Stars?
He sure did. When Ramsay was 35, he set up his first restaurant, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. It was the first time in his career that he owned something solo, naming it after himself. The doors opened in 1998 and by 2001, he had earned three Michelin stars.
Is Gordon Ramsay a Black Belt?
You’d better believe it. Ramsay has some serious brawn to back up that bite, so he’s not someone to trifle with. The chef began karate because he loved the art of it. He’s had to use it in the past, too: a contestant on Hell’s Kitchen once tried to slap him, but he quickly deflected.

Does Gordon Ramsay own a microwave?
He does not. Ramsay hates microwaves and says only lazy chefs use them. He has admitted that they can be useful tools for those who need to quickly reheat a meal or warm something before cooking it properly, but he isn’t a fan. Nor is he keen on other chefs using them.
Is Gordon Ramsay English?
He is not. Although Ramsay grew up in England, he was actually born in Johnstone, Scotland. His birthday is November 8 1966. He moved to Stratford-upon-Avon, England, when he was five years old.
Did Gordon Ramsay play soccer?
Ramsay is one fit chef, but that’s partially because he grew up an athlete. He played soccer (or football, depending on where you live) and pursued it as a profession. When he was 15 years old, he joined the Scottish Premier League’s Glasgow Rangers, but a knee injury later ended his career for good.

Although Ramsay is a father to twins Holly Anna Ramsay and Jack Scott Ramsay (in addition to four other kids), he is not a twin. However he does have an older and younger sister, as well as a younger brother.
What Is Gordon Ramsay’s favourite takeout?
While Ramsay is all about embracing his roots and life in Scotland and England, he turns to America when he wants the best fast food. The chef has a soft spot for In-N-Out burgers and misses the West Coast restaurant chain when he’s out of town.
How many hours a day does Gordon Ramsay work?
A lot. In 2015, the chef revealed he typically works 14 to 16 hours daily. He explained that he wakes up at 5AM, works out, films shows, and catches up on his businesses before hitting the hay at 2 a.m. Something tells us he may nap for an hour or two on the weekends.

Gordon Ramsay is a fan of perfectly grilled cheese, and he’s known for his ultimate grilled cheese sandwich. His version includes country bread, asiago and romano cheese, with butter and olive oil to crisp up the toasty outside. He also includes pink peppercorn and kimchi for the ideal hint of crunch and flavour.

What is Gordon Ramsay’s favourite hobby?
Although Ramsay has various interests, his main hobby is sports and anything sports-related. In addition to karate, he likes boxing and running marathons. He’s a triathlete who trains to compete in Ironman competitions, completing his first in 2013 with a time of 14 hours, four minutes and 48 seconds.
