Make these popular Chinese-American restaurant appetizers at home with just a handful of ingredients. The filling is a blend of tangy cream cheese and canned crab meat with a pinch of cayenne for heat. The wontons can be prepared in advance and frozen until ready to deep fry. I love serving these alongside some sweet chilli sauce for dipping!

In a small mixing bowl stir together the crab meat, cream cheese, scallions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper until well combined.
Lightly brush the edges of the wonton wrappers with water and evenly divide the filling amongst the 20 wontons wrappers, about 1 heaping teaspoon per wonton. Fold and pinch the four corners together, ensuring the wontons are tightly sealed.
Transfer to a tray or plate, cover with plastic wrap and chill for a minimum of 30 minutes. As the wontons chill, heat the frying oil to 350°F degrees.
Working in batches, fry the wontons until crispy and golden, about 2 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate to drain the excess oil.
Serve immediately with sweet chili sauce for dipping.
