This is a great pick-me-up recipe, whether it’s enjoyed as a snack or a dessert. The protein-rich yogurt and polyphenol-rich fruits help your body make feel-good neurotransmitters to uplift you, and the magnesium-rich chocolate helps you feel calm. Simply spread yogurt out on a baking sheet and go nuts with the toppings you love.

Notes

The recipe requires 3-4 hours freezing time.

Step 1

In a medium bowl, combine the yogurt, vanilla and maple syrup, mixing well.

Step 2

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and evenly spread the yogurt mixture on it, making it as thin as you can. Cascade the almonds, berries, chocolate and coconut chips overtop, then gently press them in to ensure they stick. Drizzle honey overtop if you’d like to add extra sweetness.

Step 3

Place in the freezer for 3-4 hours. Once completely frozen, break into jagged pieces. Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 month.
