Combining the classic toppings from a Hawaiian pizza, and wrapping them in a “blanket” of pizza dough, these Hawaiian Pigs in a Blanket are the perfect snack, appetizer, or game day treat. The ham and pineapple provide a delicious mix of sweet and salty, while the cheese and tomato sauce finishes off this comforting bite. They’re simple to make and even simpler to eat – just make sure to share.

Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Sprinkle the countertop lightly with flour. Press the pizza dough into a rectangle. Use a rolling pin to roll it out about ⅛-inch thick. Cut the dough in half lengthwise, then cut each half into 6 triangles.
Dollop about 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce in the center of each dough triangle. Sprinkle it with mozzarella cheese, then lay a stick of ham and pineapple on the cheese. With the point of the triangle facing away from you, roll the dough, encasing the cheese and tomato sauce, but with the edges of the ham and pineapple sticking out the sides.
Transfer the pigs in a blanket to a baking sheet, then sprinkle each with a pinch of ground fennel seed.
Bake the pigs in a blanket for 12-14 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.
Transfer to a platter and serve with a small bowl of tomato sauce for dipping.
