If one thing has been made clear in 2025, it’s that some TikTok food trends are here to stay (I’m looking at you, Baked Feta Pasta) and that’s fine by me, so long as they’re delicious. A food trend that took social media by storm last year was the rise of dense bean salads, thanks to foodie influencer Violet Witchel. Dense bean salads, or DBS for short, are exactly what you think they are – filling, nutritious salads made with beans and other delicious accoutrements. The best part about a DBS is that it tastes better the longer it sits, so it’s perfect for easy meal prep. Plus, it’s a super affordable way to get in your daily dose of fiber.
This Mediterranean spin offers traditional Greek salad veggies, but feel free to swap for whatever you have in the fridge. The lemony, garlicky dressing will taste delicious no matter what you put it on, so get creative and enjoy!
